Ravensbourne's annual postgraduate degree show will be included as part of the London Design Festival for the second year running, an event which "celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world".
Hosted at Ugly Duck in London Bridge between Wednesday 19 September and Friday 21 September, 'Critical Presence' will showcase interdisciplinary design works, fashion and art installations from postgraduate students representing 18 different nations.
The exhibition will explore the changing interaction between digital and physical media, and the impact this has on how we create artefacts and shape experiences.
Among the work exhibited will be fashion projects highlighting issues such as gender equality, racial stereotyping and the erosion of localised manufacturing traditions, immersive virtual reality experiences, animatronic models intended for use in science fiction and 3D data visualisation projects.
