A group of second- and third-year Architecture and IDEAs students have been shortlisted for the Retail Design World Student Design Awards in a competition against Kingston University. For the competition the students decided to take over a disused underground station for a concept Ted Baker store.
The brief was delivered by Ted Baker and they were mentored by Fitch creative director, Tim Greenhalgh. With members including Harriet Collins, Emma Islam, Julius Conmigo, Sharina Tejada-Mayo and Nas Al-Dame, the Ravensbourne team attended a number of mentoring sessions with Tim. The sessions were held both at Ravensbourne as well as at the Ted Baker offices.
The competition is currently in the judging phase, with the winners to be announced at the Retail Design Expo at Kensington Olympia on 10 March 2015.
