Ravensbourne is committed to meeting its duty to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults within its community or whom it comes into contact with through activities and events. Ravensbourne aims to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, children and vulnerable adults. This is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
Safeguarding is a matter for everyone at Ravensbourne – staff and students alike – and we expect our community to behave responsibly to support, encourage and respect other members of our community to gain the best possible experience whilst working and studying.
Your success is our top priority – and there are lots of opportunities to take part in our varied programme of extra-curricular activities on and off course.
- Study trips – Home and EU
- FE students are welcome to attend degree visiting lecturers
- Student ambassadors
- Volunteering - Reactiv8
- External college opportunities - student competitions, work experience etc
We want students to get involved at Ravensbourne, for example by being a student rep or by joining the student/staff liaison groups – students are encouraged at all times to let us know their views and engage fully in student life. We count on student views to help us continually improve!
We will give our students all the help possible to ensure they complete their course and progress successfully on to their next step.
