College and LRC Relocation- Important Update

The LRC closed on the 28th May due to the college relocation, and will be open again in the new building on the 4th October.

Access to most Electronic Resources including electronic books for research will be available if you have set up an Athens account- see Access and Athens page for more information. You must set this up using a college networked computer before the 28th May or contact r.todd@rave.ac.uk over the summer. Further information about research resources can be found here or on Learn@Rave Contextual studies pages.

Please note that all LRC bookstock, DVDs and the journal archive WILL be available and on open access in the new LRC. VHS recordings will be held off site and available on request only.

LRC

Ravensbourne's LRC supports its students and staff research needs through its collection and highly qualified staff. We hold over 15,000 books and 10,000 hours of off-air broadcast material including feature films, animations and documentaries, on video and DVD. All of these are available to search on our catalogue. In addition, we hold a rich multimedia collection of electronic resources which include the complete text of many of our magazines, journals and newspapers (150 current subscriptions and 228 archived)

The LRC also offers a range of support services such as: reprographics services, research assistance and training. We are always happy to help you!
