Staff ICT Resources

ICT provides administrative and academic staff computing.

Acceptable Use

Access to the Ravensbourne ICT service is governed by the ICT acceptable use statement, and by the staff computer policy.

Specification

ICT publishes a staff computing specification on Confluence. This specification is reviewed termly. Although ICT offers a supported choice of PC or Mac, laptop or desktop, we strongly recommend that staff with administrative responsibilities use a PC.

Replacement Schedule

Staff computers are replaced on a three year rolling schedule. However, machines are normally replaced during breaks or periods of low demand. It's possible, therefore, that a replacement may happen either shortly before or shortly after three years are up.
