Ping Pong
Ping Pong, located at the back of the first floor of the CAVE area (through the double doors opposite Blue ICT, at the back), is a Mac based teaching resource providing 10 student workstations and one staff machine, the latter offering LeaF facilities. It allows students to receive expert training on current, industry-standard Mac applications for video and sound. Fast, network-accessible storage and a fast (gigabit Ethernet) local network allow the streaming of a video clip to several workstations simultaneously, allowing interactive training on video-editing applications.
Ping Pong is bookable for teaching between 09.00 and 16.00, Monday to Friday. At all other times, this resource is open access.
