The Lime Lab contains 16 high end iMacs based around the Apple Aperture and Adobe Lightroom software for digital photography and 2D graphics workflows. The space is designed to be flexible with movable and foldable tables to allow quick reconfiguration of the room, and flexible partitioning of the workspace. The LeaF AV equipment is operated directly from Apple Mac hardware which runs software that allows any machine in the room to push its desktop to the projector or LCD screens. Laptop users can also share their iTunes content via this process, as well as upload content for viewing on the screens.
There are numerous ports avaliable for laptop users to connect to the network as well as wireless coverage and specific laptop friendly desk areas.
The Emerald Lab is bookable for teaching between 10.00 and 16.00 Monday to Friday. At all other times, this resource is open access.
If this resource is busy, why not try one of the following similarly equipped resources: Graphics Production (no Lightroom or Aperture).
