If you receive a request for information that mentions the Freedom of Information of Act you should always tell our Records Officer, immediately.
If you receive a request for information that doesn’t mention Freedom of Information, but you think it may be sensitive, or you’re not sure how to respond – consult the Records Officer.
You must respond to any request for any information within 20 working days – whether the applicant mentions Freedom of Information or not.
This doesn’t mean that every time someone telephones to ask for the address of the College that you pass them on to the Records Officer! Think common sense!
