Requesting a student status letter for banks, employers, landlords etc.
You can request a letter 24 hours a day through MLE2 which confirms your status as a student. You can request the following types of confirmations:
- Bank letters
- Council Tax Certificates
- Student Status Letters
- Student Status for Foreign Governments and Agents
You should follow the on-screen information and, in the case of bank letters, it is important you provide the full details of the bank you would like to join. Please note we can no longer accept letter requests by email.
Once you have requested your letter and we have processed your request you will get an automatic notification that your letter is ready for collection, you should allow 72 hours for requests to be processed. You can then collect your letter form the Information Centre during opening hours. When you collect your letter you must bring your ID Badge.
Please note we cannot allow you to pick letters on behalf of other students without express written permission.
